The Excursionist (Journal 1)

I will be posting a pic and sometimes more everyday from here, there and everywhere that i have been and loved. If you have questions or thoughts about these, feel free to bug me.  I'm an excellent tour guide. The sand biker on the left is me.  OK, that  was a joke. Trust me, beautiful as it may look, you have got to be slightly insane to go dune smashing  like this in mad heat and sand dust - mouthful, eyeful and earful to say the least. Anyways, not a total wimp, i am tucked inside in the first picture.

Chha, Vic and I M, hello.   :)

I would be in the vehicle myself...the other isn't really my idea of fun. Once, a million years ago, I spent three hours pulled off the road, en route from Las Vegas to L.A. in the most horrible, blinding sand storm. When it was finally over and I could see to drive, the paint was entirely stripped off my car!

At 65, I've done it! My poetry book - Life's Journey by Carmen Henesy - is out on Amazon!
( Poems about the things that have been important to me in my journey through life, some humorous, some sad, some that may have meaning to you as well )

Loved the shades in sand ... and the feeling of speed. Wish you speedy thoughts, but then don't be a wimp always ... do come out sometimes in bikes as well! :D

I like the adventure bit in riding the bike in the sand. What is the fun being a "little" cozy inside those cars or whatever you want to call them (SUVs?)! Do visit me sometimes (I hope you know me! ;-)).
